Gosh, the life bucket? Ooo...

So, I really want to finish a novel to my satisfaction. I have issues with finishing things as far as writing goes - I tend to start them and then get distracted or bored or convinced that the plot isn't strong enough, but I've been getting better at this the more I work on it, and things seem to be getting further before I get flabbergasted, so I'm pretty sure it's going to happen.

One step at a time on the writing thing, anyway. Finishing is first.

Other things that take less explanation: travel to UK, Greece, Australia, Iceland, and pretty much anywhere else that comes my way; ride in a hot air balloon, and learn to scuba dive (and meet wild octopi that way). Those are the top of my mind right this instant. ;)

So, actually, it'd be a variation on a meal I had in Vegas last month. A lot of the food we had there was pretty ish, but the really good restaurants were amazing. It was at this absolutely fantastic Italian place in the Venetian hotel, and we had a cheese spread, beet salad and a... hmm, another salad that was some kind of grain and olive oil and cucumbers and feta, and then braised pork shoulder with this mix of cucumbers and chilis on top. I don't even normally like chilis, and this blew my mind. Red wine with all of it. And then sorbetto for dessert.

I loooooooooove cheeses. I forget exactly what varieties we had that night, but there were two hard cheeses and a third that was a soft variation on buffalo mozzarella, and there was... shoot, it was an apricot chutney, a variety of alcohol-soaked cherries that was just unbelievably to-die-for, and then truffle-infused honey to go with them.

What's your favorite thing you've written/drawn/crafted/otherwise created? (Or one of each!)

Lottery! That'd be quite a trick, since I never buy tickets, but hey - maybe someone posted it under the door. ♥

I'd put some in savings, some in investments, and then divy up the rest between a few favorite charities (NPR, Humane Society, and Planned Parenthood or Equality Now would probably all feature), travel (UK, maybe Greece or something like that...), and possibly going back to college. I like being in school.

What's your favorite thing you've written/drawn/crafted/otherwise created?

Yeesh, that's tough. For writing, I think my favorite overall might still be this gigantic, stupidly epic Hellboy fic that I spent about a full year trying not to write before I finally admitted that the characters weren't going away and ended up spending another several months (including NaNoWriMo) absolutely killing myself over. Apparently it was very important to my subconscious that I write that damned thing, and I think it turned out fairly well, for all of that.

For drawing, I think my favorite at the moment is still my Mucha!Delenn. I need to spend more time drawing, because that was just fun. ♥
