A world without the OED in print, on paper. I don't know if I can handle this. I think I may need to work on my calligraphy or something, do an illuminated page to cope with my shock and horror, and thumb my nose at the modern world for a while.

It is! I used to have an online subscription to the OED through my university, but I always sort of treasured the idea of owning a physical copy once I had a permanent house.
