A world without the OED in print, on paper. I don't know if I can handle this. I think I may need to work on my calligraphy or something, do an illuminated page to cope with my shock and horror, and thumb my nose at the modern world for a while.

It does say "probably" so it's not for sure, and I suspect that there will be some printing for libraries and such. But I can see whey a mass-market publish wouldn't be terribly profitable at this point.
