totally crazy things that happen
So... The Boy and I are engaged. ♥
Apparently The Boy had been planning on this for a while, unknown to me, and after a lot of effort had found and bought the ring in the last week... and had been planning on waiting til closer to Christmas, but decided last night while we were hanging out and having a good, fun, quiet night after seeing my mom and grandma was the perfect time. And it was.
The ring is at the jeweler's getting resized (it was slightly too big), and I feel weirdly like I miss it already (it's so pretty - the pictures just don't do it justice because the focus got a little off on the camera and it doesn't quite catch the sparkle), and we haven't picked a date yet or anything, but I'm absurdly happy. Like, walking around constantly grinning kind of happy. Like, going to be annoying the hell out of everyone for the next few weeks (...probably longer...) kind of happy, so I apologize in advance, but yay.

Lol. My family keeps asking if I picked the ring or helped or anything, and I'm proud to say he picked it all by himself. ;)
And oh, wow. That first one is amazing, but I don't know if I could do anything but stare at it (how could you eat something that cute?!). The second one, though... wow. That's just gorgeous. I might have to look at the rest of that bakery's gallery, just for ideas!
