can't bring myself to care that much, sorry

Sure, NOW my graduating class decides they want a reunion. In August. And they want to charge $25 per person for it, not including drinks? Oh, look, and it's being held at a casino. I hate casinos. I hung out the other weekend with some lovely people from my high school, with whom I actually had a few things in common back in the day (and, as it turns out, now), and you know what? That was entirely enough ten-year-reunion-ness for me, I think.

As Terry Pratchett once wrote, Buggre Alle This for a Larke. I believe I shall be too busy for this.

Or as Londo Mollari once said, I intend to be otherwise engaged.

Mine's in 2 years! I'm pretty sure I feel the exact same way (I hope I won't even be in the country by then). I like your reply though... Maybe I'll send my invitation back with that in the RSVP.

I skipped my high school ten-year reunion, though I did get dragged to [livejournal.com profile] glasseye's (where the coolest person I don't see all the time was the one who snuck in). I have surprised myself by being mildly interested in the idea of my ten-year college reunion, which is in two years.

Wow, that's cheap compared to what they wanted me to spend for mine ($70 IIRC). Even $25 is entirely too much money to spend for the "fun" of going to hang out with people you couldn't wait to get away from ten years earlier. ;)

Enjoy your class reunion... by being somewhere else! XD
