New pictures of Eleven's outfit and companion are floating around. I, personally, only find myself capable of caring that there were so many people posting bits of information out of cuts over on doctrwho that I had to go ahead and look at the pictures because, what the hell, I already knew half of it. :P

And, at the risk of restarting an old argument, they still both look about 12. The outfits are fine, although I will say...

That I quite miss the days when the Doctor's outfits could not be seen on any hipster-boy walking around my fair city. Seriously, guys - it's awkward. And not really the point of the Doctor.

I am rather pleased by the bow-tie, at least... if only because it's not something you see every day.

Now... does anybody know what day the 'Hobbit' casting controversy was rumored to be cleared-up on? I keep right on hearing there'll be an announcement at ComicCon (although, for the record, I don't believe it'll be That Person Everyone Says It Might Be, even though that would be the most awesome thing ever... if bizarre in terms of "type" for the character), so... which day is it exactly that I should be hovering over TheOneRing.net, refreshing every five seconds? :)

As far as I heard Guillermo isn't planning on making any announcements at SDCC - in fact he's not even going.

Whether Peter Jackson lets anything slip I have no idea.

But the TORN panel is Thurs afternoon - so I imagine you might wish to check the boards Thurs night or Friday morning. If PJ doesn't announce anything at the TORN panel then I doubt we'll get any big Hobbit news out of SDCC

Weeeeeell, shoot. I'm all a-twitter with suspense, and PJ, if I remember correctly from the past movies, is actually good at keeping secrets. Whereas Guillermo seems to have a knack for stuff just spilling out of his mouth. ♥

I'll have to keep an eye on Thurs/Friday, though, just in case... *hope*

The suspense is killing me - I want a cast! Then I can start being even more neurotically excited about how they're going to handle everything! XD

I quite like the outfit and the new companion's name. Although now I can no longer pretend that she's Romana and that she and the Doctor will go on OTP-y adventures looking ironically young.
