Had a lovely weekend. On Friday, theladyfeylene, zinjadu and I went out to Indian food (or chai, for me, since I'd had pizza at my work-meeting just before). Then we went back to my apartment and sat around chatting - nothing unusual, but fun. On Saturday we went out to the store and bought stuff for beef stew and made it, then went (after some adventure with buses) to shadawyn and Dora's place to hang out, and I cooed and made much over Anne's kitties, as usual. If Sebastian ever turns up missing and I mysteriously and suddenly had a cat that could be his twin.... well, no one would be surprised, I have a feeling.

After we got back, I did reading, and then paused for the watching of the horrible evilness that was the American dub of Fullmetal Alchemist. I love that show, and it made me sooooo angry to hear the people they'd replaced the Japanese voice actors with, because some of the (especially the guy for Ed) totally didn't fit. Not watching that again. I'm just going to have to wait for my FMA fix til we're moved into the new house and can marathon the end of the series together.

Today, I slept in too much, and then did some reading before breakfast, and went (after a bit of delay) to sablebadger and ladysonnet's annual Day of the Dead party - so much fun, as always, and it was great to see them and everyone else again. And Badger gave me my birthday present - a wand!!! It's so pretty! It has a very nice handle of apple wood, and a shaft of oak, and I'll have to post a picture of it sometime so people can ooo over it. It's also a bit hazardous, because I already talk with my hands like an old Italian woman, so putting an extension in my hands is... dangerous. I wave it constantly while I talk, now. And tiffangelwings gave us a gorgeous print that she got at yaoi con - it's some of Ponderosa's work, and veerrry, pretty. It may have to go over the fireplace at the new house. XD After the party, we stopped by the house to take a look at the size and configuration of our rooms again, so we could get them in our heads for the working out of furniture and stuff, and so that narsilion could see the inside.

Now, I'm just trying to figure out my schedule for next quarter (DAMN the stupid senior seminars! They all want to conflict with the one class that I am hell-bound determined that I'm going to take next quarter. I will find a way to take The Viking Sagas. Even if it means I have more English classes I have to take in spring quarter, damn it! *Growls*) Oh and catch up on my reading... still. Blargh.

Tomorrow is classes, still more reading, writing my outline for my seminar class, and then Baronial business meeting. Yeep. I have to figure out how to get to Sean and Nicolette's house.... I like the months where the meeting is at the church on 50th, at least I know how to get there! :/

Eh, I just can't remember - I've only been there once. If you were planning on going to the meeting I wouldn't mind a ride, though I doubt it'd be very convenient for you - the meeting starts at 7pm, and tends to go til about 9.

Okay, I've actually decided that my schoolwork and getting ready for the new house are the most important things right now, so I sent in my report via email, and Eleanor will represent us in anything else that needs to be done. So thank you for the offer (*hugs*) but you can safely go home and have a happy night without having to pick me up!
