holiday thoughts, etc

I cannot believe that tomorrow is Christmas Eve... that totally can't be right. It snuck up on me BIG TIME this year.

So... what are people doing for New Years? Any chance for a lonely little silly person like me to have someplace to go and hang out with friends? ;)

I think I just got suckered into another RP... just as I was starting to think that things were under control. I just can't resist a really good premise... and boy did this one have one. Wow. Sad, though.... I always think it's strange that I spend so much of my fandom-life in HP fandom, when, in reality, I'm a much bigger fan of Lord of the Rings. Truth be told, I guess it's that I don't want to disrupt my opinion of the books and all by spending too much time in the fandom... I've seen how the fandom has changed my views of HP, and I don't want the same to happen in LotR. Or at least that's the best explanation I can come up with right now.
