reason 6 billion that my brain still works like a pagan no matter how I try to stomp superstition

This morning, as I left, I looked at my pretty new black and white hat, and thought "gee, that'd go great with my outfit today." But then I thought it'd be a hassle to wear and carry, because it's been so warm and sunny lately. So I left it at home.

A rain-dance and prayer to Thor would probably have been less effective in making certain that it would rain on my way home. :P
