it's sunny!
Mar. 8th, 2004 12:40 pmI was so happy this morning when we opened our curtains - that bright blue sky outside made everything (including the fact that I'd overslept by 20 minutes) so much better.
I've been accepted to the English Honors program - yay! I'm going to sign up for my first seminar... scary, but still yay. And tonight is our last rehearsal before the performance tomorrow in Shakespeare!
Also, here is an article on geekdom for all my fellow geeks/nerds/whatever out there. It's an interesting one, if a bit ridiculously obvious. Like so many similar articles, I think it misses the points that should actually be explored on this subject, but what can you do?
Tiff, since you disallowed comments in your post the other day I'll take this opportunity to say that I hope you're feeling better. It seems a pity for you to give up something you've spent so much time and money on, but if that's what you think you need to do then go for it.
I think I might change into a skirt and sandals before going to Religions - these slacks are too long to where with flat shoes, and all my nice jeans are in the laundry right now. Oh shit... I have to do laundry before rehearsal tonight..... and rehearsal starts at 4pm. Hmm... maybe I won't be able to go to Religions after all..........
ETA:
Odd little meme... I rather like this one.
Rehearsal went pretty well, despite having to switch rooms three times to accomodate the stupid CLUE program. I'm going to be glad when this whole project is over.
