I'm always a sucker for pet stories, but really, what kind of sick person would steal a dog from someone's backyard? The guy's got terminal cancer, and his daughter is understandably worried her he'll "become depressed again after losing the puppy that was his companion and protector." I know it's a long-shot, but if people could spread the word maybe it'll get to someone who can help.
