God, I wish he did. He was honestly the biggest part of the decision. In the heat of the moment I can forget that I would get frustrated with having to manage a dog in addition to a toddler, but I can't forget that I have a twenty-year-old cat who would undoubtedly lose his goddamned mind at having to share space with a dog.
