Although, in my defense, Rowling is vague. So there.

Apparently the title really is "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," and whatever she meant by "the text behind the (ahem) impossible-to-open door" it was clearly something other than the title, which was behind a door with a puzzle on it, from what I'd heard.

Blargh.

I wonder how she'd feel if she knew that so many of us were trying to get out of that being the real title because we thought it was just too ridiculously silly to be true. Honestly, I liked "the Pillar of Storge" better, whatever the hell that was.

Why? Why must the title be so stupid??

I think Pillar of Storge was better. It sounds more realistic because it connects Lily and James and their familial love.

Half Blood Prince? Sounds liks nothing that we can really connect with other books.

That's what I thought, too. She specifically said it's not Harry or Voldemort, but that doesn't entirely negate the possiblity of it being Tom Riddle. Which, I agree, would be fairly cool.
