leaving on a... well, no, not a jet plane

Okay! I have five books of significant size, my mp3 player is stuffed with new music, my CDs are all packed with the CD player (and extra batteries for it *and* the mp3 player!), clothes for various possible weather conditions (*crosses fingers*), sunscreen, band-aids, an ace bandage (for my chronically bad wrist), a thing of pretzels for the ride, a deck of cards, my sketchbook/journal.... Yup. I'm going on vacation. *G*

I'm outta here as of tomorrow morning at sometime around nine (my ride is notorious for being somewhat late, but just since I said that they'll be on time this time), and will be back at some point on Saturday, supposedly. If I'm not back (and whining about being stuck in the computer lab for work again) by Monday... send out the coast guard. ;)

No, no - not your fault at all. I spazzed on telling people 'cause I kept forgetting how close the trip was. We're just going camping out to the beach somewhere near Port Townsend, but it should be fun, presuming I can survive the week away from computers and civilization. ;)

Hey Jen, I guess I'm covering your series so I was hoping that you were taking a holiday, good for you! I hope you have a great time. Port Townsend is beautiful, I just went Sea Kayaking up near there (in the San Juans), if you get the chance to go, I recommend it. But I'm sure you'll have an awesome time regardless of my silly recommendations. Give me a call when you get back so we can go to lunch or something, it's been awhile! Hope you're having fun (I'm so jealous)!!! :)
