a bit of 'heraldic' drawing

rivendellroseSince I'm soon to have a hell of a lot less free time once school starts, and since I wanted to draw anyway, I thought I'd try finding something for the new college achievement, like we talked about at the meeting yesterday.
Therefore, for your approval - a 'husky' salient, to match the bunny on the other side.
In my sketchbook he's a perfectly respectable four inches or so, I'd guess. Scanned... well.
The design is adapted from the wolf salient in this article. I'm not sure how period it is (it looks right to me, but what do I know?), so I'll be looking into more sources at the library soon.
It's kind of a pretty wolfy-husky-thing, anyway.
