errand-running all the hell over
Sep. 14th, 2004 03:46 pmRunning around doing errands before I head home, and when I got back to the office I suddenly had the sinking feeling that nothing I did was really that useful. I ran all over the University district getting things for school dealt with, but my total in terms of actual accomplishment consisted of 2 texts from the university bookstore, 2 from a used bookstore, and a planner I'm not quite sure I like anymore, despite an hour spent debating over various features and qualities.
(Me: Hmm, this one's very cheap but I don't like the style. Oh, I want one with weekly and monthly. Here's one that's recycled, but it's kind of expensive, oh wait this one's regular calendar year and I need academic calendar year............ later, rinse, repeat ad nauseum.)
I'm tired, my feet hurt from all the running around on top of the running around for work... and I'm just plain missing being at home. And I've probably got another hour before I can leave, damn it.
ETA: I've determined that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get past the 9th level of Collapse on Yahoo games. I can make it to only 28 lines left, but no more. It starts going faster at that point, and I can no longer keep up even enough to just click on bombs. Wah. *laughs*
