Alright. Whose bright idea was it to make a musack version of The Phantom of the Opera?

By the time someone actually answers the damned phone, I'm probably going to be singing along.

ETA: I stand corrected. It's now playing "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Mis, so I take it it's actually "Broadway hits" or something like that. I can't decide whether this is better or worse.

At least it's songs I like and recognize....

ETA2: And after all that, they couldn't give me any info beyond what's on the web. Oh well - I tried.

And now I have to go listen to Les Mis while I get my laundry ready, 'cause it's stuck in my head.

Yup, I remembered as soon as I recognized Phantom. Honestly - Musack "Music of the Night." That's just so sad. The girl answered before it got to "On My Own," thank the gods. I would've started humming, for sure. And then would've been really embarassed when I got "caught" humming to their musack.
