Recipe for Disaster:

Take one stressed, tired Jen. Add two episodes of Highlander, with liberal helping of Peter Wingfield as Methos. Add 'Horseman' arc and stir, then set the mixture aside to stew.

In the morning, shake vigorously, and spike with caffeine, then let to sit again, removing all external stimulus via boring seminar discussion. Add giggly conversation, then mix liberally with the final and most vital ingredient: Modern poetry, specifically Auden, with the slightest flavoring of Terry Pratchett.

Watch the contents explode with desire to write psychotically artsy fic/commentary on Death. And the Harvest. And women.

It's the poetry class that really messes things up. We keep reading poems about death. And then I remember other poems about death. And then I remember this one quote from Reaper Man... and then I'm just gone.
