last week of classes
Mar. 9th, 2005 10:22 amDid not make much progress on paper yesterday - despite the computer access, work is really not that conducive to concentrated writing that requires a lot of attention. Will try to do better today. I want to have a full draft before tomorrow's conference with the professor. And then I can't forget to double-check my poetry paper and put the final touches on my portfolio. And remember to write one last one-page response and a Bad Poem to add in, too. Blargh. At least that's the end of it, for that class.
Last day of the Sagas class today. I'm really hoping the prompt for the final paper is an easy one. And I should have gone over the reading again, 'cause I read it last Friday and I really don't remember it that well anymore. Ah well. I know the jist, and enough bits and pieces to (hopefully) make clear that yes, I read it.
I can't make up my mind. I should just ask Professor Conroy, or email my seminar prof from last quarter... but I can't decide which would be better. If I ask Professor Conroy, I'm going to have a bit more trouble (being that she's not an English prof), and I'm stuck with writing about the sagas and Tolkien. I'm no longer sure that would be a good idea, since there's no real argument there. Well... maybe. I don't know. It kind of makes me go "eep." But then if I go with Professor Georges, I have no fecking clue at all what I would write on. And honestly, I'm more intimidated by her, even though she's a very nice lady. Professor Conroy, I at least sort of know well enough to have normal conversations without too much nervousness. But I'd have more freedom of choice, possibly be able to find a better topic, and I'd have an actual English prof working with me. In other words... crap. I frigging hate being the most indecisive person alive.
I'm going to go fulfill the holy duty of Feeding the Cat, get dressed, and try to get another page or so done on the damned paper. Oh, and let the dog in, too.
