Yet another case of an article with truly disturbing findings, although happily not one that foretells the literal doom of the world, or anything like that. *Sighs*

Americans are reading less literature now than in the last two decades.

And an update on the Snape-kitten; our adult cat's maternal instincts have finally kicked in (she holds him down to wash him, now, whenever he bothers her) and he's currently sprawled in my lap purring and holding my arm in place so he can chew on me. And squeaking whenever I put him down because I'm sick of being bitten.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] sablebadger, a special word of condolence for you - it's come to my attention that a sad situation has arisen at your work. Is it true that they're now making you buy your own SODA???

*Gasp* The tech industry in this city really is in trouble if all these computer gurus are no longer allowed free caffeine... ;)
