An interesting theory on the Game, and a very well-written piece of work besides. I'd read it before, but I'm glad I tracked it down again to keep a link and share it.

Edit: Summary of a fic I just found: "Cassandra and Methos have a beer; then Duncan faces Ahriman, and Methos goes a-wandering while Cassandra sees a therapist."

Any fic that sends Cassandra into a long-needed session with a therapist, I'm willing to check out. *g*

Interestingly enough, no to both. And yet, it still managed to be believable. I'm impressed with the author... not least because it's a damned good writer who can write a character I usually hate well enough that not only do I feel it is undeniably them... but that I actually end up liking them a little, too, damn it.

Further proof that if writer and actress had both been a bit better, Cassandra could have been much more interesting. As it is, I'm disturbed that someone managed to make the Wicked Bitch of the East slightly sympathetic to me. ;)

hmmmm....interesting. This author must be good if he/she made Cassandra likeable to you!

It's really interesting - she manages to make her understandable and sympathetic, but you can still see that she's... cracked. And the author doesn't at all shy away from that. She's pretty damned good at writing Methos, Joe, and Amanda, too. It's too bad the story is primarily about Cassandra.
