Some nights it's hard to find the line between "aww, how sweet" and "hey, was that a honey-soaked sweat sock you just stuffed down my throat?"

On those nights, a wise woman knows to stop writing and go to bed.

Awwww, for me, is usually much more understated. Sappy tells you that the characters are feeling joy. Awwwww shows it.

Sappy is someone saying "you are the meaning of my life" about 20 times in different words. Awwww is someone SHOWING they care that much, y'know?

Yeah, sometimes it's hard to find that when it's late at night, though. Ah well - I'll go over what I wrote again tonight and figure out whether it needs to be changed. The joys of writing fic late at night when I have work the next morning. ;)
