Is it bad that I've been awake for two hours, had one cup of tea already, and am still feeling very "bleeaaaaaaghhh?"

...It is definitely bad that I went back and forth three times on whether to put the question mark in or out of the quotations in that sentence.

Also, the federal and/or state government should really get a clue and realize that if they're going to make people go to jury duty instead of working, they should offer minimum wage for the time you're there, rather than just saying "here's $10 a day, enjoy the fact that you can't work for up to a week or more." Morons. And they wonder why they can't seem to get jurors anymore.

Vague underlying panic about everything in my life is still here, and becoming increasingly less vague or underlying. I hate hate hate hate hate being nervous about shit. I need Advantage for the cat, people to sublet rooms, a new permanent roommate, and a good second job all in very short order, and this is making me an excessively nervous Jen. Hate stress. Hate how stress never fecking goes away, no matter how many things I deal with. Hate trying to keep up with shit. Eeaaaagh.

Since this is an informal situation, I tend to agree with you. But it looked so wrong.

it's because you were quoting a non-sentence.

Quite true. And a lot like Scooby, in this case. ;)
