I very much did not just email asking about audition and filming dates in response to a posting looking for actors for a non-compensated indie film.

Very much 'not.'

So much 'not' that I'm now sitting here thinking "there's no way this would fit in my schedule, and this will only end badly." But I miss having my hand in the business, and I couldn't turn down the possibility, from the description. Wah. It's an addiction, I swear - you think you've recovered, it's been years since you've had a hit... and then, suddenly, you get the cravings again out of nowhere, and it all starts coming back.

The good news is, it's been so long since I've worked in the business that I have no chance at all at actually getting the part. But still. Eep.

No, but for the first time in four years I'm speaking to someone about an audition. It's a scary slope to start slipping down again. ;)
