rivendellroseI got the most perfect job opening in my email today, through the English Dept. mailing list. It's clerical and office work in the English Language department office, full time from mid-August through the end of September, and then part time through the school year. I was totally psyched. I was getting ready to go touch up my resume and email it to the contact person. I was thrilled beyond belief, praying to be allowed this job...
And then I noticed the last line on the qualifications. They want a driver. Someone to run errands in a state vehicle, like picking up rental cars, flowers, and food for events. NOOOO!!! Anything but driving!!! Especially not here in Seattle!!!!!!!!
It isn't fair. It just isn't friggin' fair.
