the meet-up

rivendellroseFreshman orientations here at the UW are underway in full force (oh so many adorably confused pre-freshmen running around campus right now!), and, because of that, ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
nekokoban and I got to meet a 'new' friend last night.
We met up with the delightfulmiss_arel last night for dinner on the Ave, and it was lovely fun. So much shiny, so much chatter, so much general fangirling over everything. So many plans of watching DVDs later. ;)
So yes - yesterday was a very nice day overall. Work, job interview, wandering around the Seattle Center feeling all nostalgic for my days working at the science center, helping confused tourists, a bit of cotton candy ice cream... Hey, who am I to turn down free samples? And then fun with meeting people, staying out too late, and RPing and chatting with friends, and writing. A full and complete day.
Now, I'm just sitting here... wondering where everyone else in my office is. I guess I'd better go put the morning equipment in on my own. XD
