"it'll still be there... waiting..."

As I told zinjadu a few days ago, my greatest talent in this world is misplacing things. And then, with a bit of luck, remembering all the strange places in which I tend to 'hide' things from myself. I can't find my cellphone charger, darn it. I hardly ever move it, so of course the one time I have to take it somewhere, I end up losing track of it when it comes back home. *Sighs*

Yesterday was very fun. Stopped by the Oceanography command center at Mary Gates and watched a sort of teleconference thing with the folks out on the ship - very interesting. Then we hid from the heat for a while, and went out to buy nekokoban her parasol, and get dinner on the Ave. Then up to Cellophane Square to look for CDs (I didn't find anything, thank goodness), and to Safeway for a box of popsicles, and back to zinjadu's to watch "The Incredibles." Unfortunately, we were all too tired from the heat to watch the whole thing, so we split up early-ish.

Best moment of the day had to be Terra and I, dressed in as much of our Firefly costumes as we have at the moment (why? because we wanted to), taking one look at an older fellow walking down the street toward us... who had perfect fluffed-out-freaky Shepherd Book hair. Managed not to laugh til he'd gotten a good deal past us, then cackled our heads off like madwomen. It was just too perfect.

Now, if I could just find that stupid charger...

Edited: OMG charger. It was in the bag in my bathroom. Sad thing is, as soon as I thought of it, I remembered that I kept seeing it there all week, and thinking "gee, I should go plug that in" like the idiot that I am. XP

Have you seen it at all since last weekend? I was pretty sure you had put it into your backpack, and I haven't noticed it around here, but I haven't been looking either.
If you think it might be here, give me an idea as to where you might have had it, and I'll look around. Hope you find it soon.

Oh you found it, ok, well good, I'm glad, cause I was just posting to say that it was not in the van. Going to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at one. Whee!

I was thinking that I would come up and bring you your jacket and pick up the drill to give back to Norman after the movie this afternoon. I'll call and make sure you're going to be home before I head out. If you have plans, that's fine, I could come out tomorrow afternoon instead.

It was just so funny! I couldn't help it, the hair was too perfect. And with Terra right next to me, dressed up like Kaylee... it was so surreal.
