1st full day at admissions desk

I came up totally even on my till at the end of the day, despite a bunch of confusing membership sales and voids and things like that! Go me for not screwing things up! My manager was very proud. *g*

Other than that, I have little news. I'm very tired, and I hope to actually go to bed early tonight.

Oh - one more thing. Do I have "Please talk to me, strange men at least 10 years older than me" written on my forehead lately? The last few days it seems like I can't wait for or get on a bus (with my headphones on!!!) without some random guy trying to chat me up. I'm getting kind of irritated with this. I know they most likely are just being friendly, but dude, if I have my headphones in it means I don't want to just chat with whoever happens by. I will happily answer people who ask things like "have you seen the (insert number of bus route) come by yet?" or something. When you start asking me where I work and all I start getting kind of "grr, leave me alone," whether or not you are overtly creepy.

It's okay, I have pepperspray and a loud voice if they start actually bugging me. These are just guys who are trying to be chatty, so I'm not worried.

That'd be awesome! Right now I'm not scheduled to be at the front desk again for the next two weeks, but now that I'm trained I'll probably get scheduled for it again soon. At least I hope so. *g*
