It may be time to start putting out milk or candy or something.

Things that are currently missing:

1 bag of razors, only a few of which have been used.
1 much-loved turquoise ring.
My current checkbook.

I hate how disorganized and messy my room is right now. I just can't seem to make any headway on it, though. And I feel like I've looked everywhere for these things, which is obviously not true, since I haven't found them yet and I know they're somewhere here.

Also, I notice that people are doing much quoting of Shakespeare today. I'll have to do that when I get home tonight, I don't have time to copy anything down at the moment, and the only bits I know by heart are kind of long speeches.

I feel your pain. My room is a disaster. It's a wonder I can ever find anything. Definitely going to have to do something about that this weekend.

Problem is, I work on the weekends. And during the week. So it's kind of hard to get anything done. *headdesk*

I totally could, at this point. It's just so... cluttered. Bleck. I don't mind a bit of clutter, but this is just insane!

I may have to put "help actually getting my room clean" on my birthday list, at this rate.

Have a room cleaning party.

Buy some wine/beer/whatever and invite your friends over. Make up a check list of stuff that needs to be done and where stuff goes. Then crank up the tunes.

You and your housemates could do the whole house.

A friend of mine had about 5 hours to move. A bunch of us bought beer and snacks, went over to her place and cleaned like we've never cleaned before. The next morning we all had breakfast. It was great.

I think if I had more than one or two people involved I'd never figure out where things had gone to. But other than that, it's not a bad idea. I've done it before, back in the dorms, when things got out of control... I paid three of my friends ice cream to clean my room while I was gone for the night. >_< Kind of embarassing, but it worked... they're much more organized than I ever could be, anyway.
