Halloween fics!

Okay, folks - Halloween is pretty much my favorite holiday, and I'm in the mood to do something festive for the season. And we all know that for me, that means writing fic. In my copious amounts of free time, of course... but, hey, I'm looking at it as a warm-up for NaNoWriMo next month!

So here's the deal. I've already got one Harry Potter (Narcissa/Snape, specifically), and one post-Serenity Firefly fic in the works, both with Halloween themes. I'd like to add a few more to the list, particularly a Highlander and an X-Files, maybe a few others.

But before I do that... what do you all, the people who have to put up with all this being posted, want to see out of this? I'm taking requests - consider it free game for whatever weird holiday-themed craziness is floating in your head! I can't promise it won't get mashed in with something else I think of, or mangled a bit in the process, but I'll try to do anything someone requests, and, what's more, I'll do my best to have it done before midnight on the 31st!

I so want to rewrite as a fic our teenage Remus/Snape bonfire scene. Only, not so painfully realistic. I still love the image of Snape in leaves and vines, the freakishly thin little freak that he is.

But you should so write the Marauders and Snape lost in a corn maze. Because that does need be written.

Oh god. That would be sooooooooooooo wonderful. *Squees* That was the best scene ever. The vines, the bonfire, everything.

Yes! That's right, I was thinking of that the other day and it slipped my mind when I was writing this post! I'll have to write that. But in return, you totally have to write the bonfire scene!!!

I will do my best. I've got to get my Percy/Narcissa fic and my James/Lily with Snape stalking them fics done, too. I'm hopefully going to be writing some on vacation, so we'll see how that goes. I do want to write the bonfire scene though, because that was awesome. If I had any art abilities whatsoever, I would so draw Snape in his costume.

At Kmart, actually. Grace Queen Costume. With proper padding around my middle and the right hairpiece, that should be perfect.

You have an X-Files idea already, but I thought I'd run this by you. It's not really an idea so much as a character suggestion. It's probably difficult to write about an episode-specific character, but I've always been fascinated by Eugene Victor Tooms (from "Squeeze" and "Tooms"). I'm not sure what you could do with him exactly, but eh, it's an idea. ;)

Oh, Tooms. Man, I haven't thought about him in a looong time, but the first time I saw that episode I was... a bit leery of vents, for the next few weeks. ;)
