Thank you, gods - I have been spared. The pain of writing a response paper tomorrow morning shall not be mine. I misread the syllabus. There is no response paper due tomorrow. Only the midterm.

Praise be unto every god that handles paper, academics, or helping poor students get through their classes without losing their flipping minds.

I had what qualifies in my mind as a legitimate nightmare, which is really weird for me. I always say that I only have two kind of nightmares - the "it's finals week and I just remembered I had this other class that I never went to" nightmare, and the "it's opening night and I go onstage only to realize that I never memorized my lines" nightmare.

But really I have one more that crops up occasionally, with some random person/persons trying to catch me. And that one happened last night. I woke up just as one of his henchmen pulled a gun on me after I'd tried to fend him off with, of all things, a bamboo pole. It was supremely bizarre, and more than a bit disturbing until I woke up all the way.

I'm not sure exactly - I'm going to try to get my exit interview with the museum finally finished in the morning, probably at about 10am, so hopefully I'll be catching up with folks around... eleven or so, I'm guessing. But I'm not sure what time everybody else will be leaving from campus, or exactly where we're meeting up, just yet.
