The weekly NaNoWriMo newsletters are so... accurate.

I'm vastly behind, thanks to school-work, and am now beginning to feel the "ugh, this novel is crap" mentality sneaking up on me. I caught myself trying to figure out how I could make a novel of the story we talked about today in my folklore class, which is always a bad sign. And now I just... blah.

So far behind. So unenthused. So... getting back to work before I whine myself out of even more time.

4,761 words as of this moment. I plan to add a thousand tonight, at least. *Puts on battle-ready music*

Added: Also? Plotbunnies, please get the hell away from me for the rest of the monnth. Please. I can't concentrate on the novel if I've got fic-bunnies bouncing up and down on my head. :/

Music always helps... except when it gives me random plotbunnies. Serves me right for listening to Les Miserables. Ah well. Thanks!

I might take a break in a bit and write up this bunny, just because I like it too much to risk losing it completely, and it seems to want to be short... besides, I'm making good progress right now. *Knocks on wood*
