big damn zombies, sir.
Nov. 14th, 2005 11:21 amI'm not sure why, exactly, but I'm exhausted. It took me forever to haul myself out of bed this morning (although that was for more of a lazy/wellness sort of feeling than anything else), and now... bleh. I feel like my whole head is fuzzy, despite having had tea and all that.
Outline for the art history paper is coming along okay, except it seems I may have misunderstood my prof about where one of the pieces I was going to write on was. I thought she said it was at the Burke, or possibly the Seattle Art Museum, but I found a reference when I was fact-checking to it being at the University of B.C.'s art museum. Which... wouldn't be horrible, I guess, but it'd definitely make things a bit more interesting. Hopefully that was old news and it's currently here in Seattle.
I feel a bit guilty about not having gone to see the pieces yet, but the paper's not due until the end of the month, and my schedule this quarter has not been conducive to wandering around the Burke, as it usually is. And I can't go today because I have to spend my break sitting in the library checking the books that are on course reserve and, thus, cannot be checked out. *Sigh*
Have I mentioned that I hate writing outlines? That's just not how I write essays... I know what I'm going to say when I say it, and before that it just looks so... boring. A, B, C, 1a, etc. Lather, rinse, repeat. Yuck.

Date: 2005-11-14 08:38 pm (UTC)Hey, at least you get to work from home and avoid the nasty commute for the day! Although I imagine that'd make it really hard to actually get stuff done... I know whenever I'm working at home I have an amazing ability to find other things that need doing. I've never been so diligent about housework as when I was trying to write a 30-page thesis.
