good day

I'm having a good day today. (*Knocks on wood*) I stayed in bed for way too long this morning, but my nice warm flannel sheets (newly added to the bed last night) and down comforter and all just felt soooo good, I couldn't bring myself to wake up. Actually dressed nice, including shoes that aren't my big clompy hiking boots, wore my favorite coat and earrings, just barely managed to catch my transfer (yay!), and then had a very nice chat with a nice guy I met on the bus, sparked by my lovely Serenity pin on my bag. I knew there was a reason to have that thing. ;)

*Giddy from actually talking to real (and cute, and graduate student in library sciences) human guy who isn't an already-involved-with-someone coworker/friend*

...*is a total dork, obviously. But a happy dork, darn it.*


There's still something wrong with my "Portrait" themed fic for backward_heels. You wouldn't think it'd be this darned difficult, but I'm starting to think I just need to start over fresh, and consider what I've done to be a 'rough draft' of sorts. 'Cause something about it is just not working properly.

That's really weird. My hotmail account is usually the best account to get hold of me, but I totally missed the email somehow - I don't see it at all.

No problem, yeah. You'd be gone... Thursday through Sunday, I'm guessing? If so, maybe Brian could pass off the key to me since he has a class in Mary Gates at 2:30, doesn't he?

Oh, and I got a message on my cellphone today from a fellow who wants to know about fighter practices. I'm not up to date on the info about that, but the guy's name was David and his number was 360-907-9163. Hopefully somebody else in the college knows more about that than I do!

Nope, still no course pack. I got in touch with one of the guys in the class, though, and since he's been out sick a lot we're going to trade him borrowing my notes for my borrowing his course pack.
