another friday!

rivendellroseI love fridays. They make me feel sort of guilty, since I only have one hour of work.... but they also make me very happy, again, because I only have one hour of work. Whee! Freedom! And a weekend ahead of me!!!
Weekend plans include laundry with mom, hanging with Tiff before her date, hopefully going to a movie with LadySonnet and SableBadger, and playing DnD for the first time in several months, with a brand new character (so new, in fact, that I've not written up the character sheet yet... oops...)
Hoping to get some guitar practice in, write some, work on my scarf... I decided to make mine first so that Cora's wouldn't be as screwed up (since I'm just learning to knit), but now I'm stuck--I only have one set of needles, so I have to finish mine before I can make hers. Very frustrating. So they won't go too slowly.
[Edited to add:] Also, thanks to my housemate Emily, I can now say that coffee brewed with cinnamon is one of the most wonderful substances on earth. Rich and dark and spicy and oh-so-delightful, with just enough milk and sugar to make it not-TOO-bitter. A bit of chocolate might have made it a tiny bit better, but it was pretty damned good as it was.
