raaaaaining
Nov. 25th, 2005 11:18 amAnd so begins another fun Seattle winter - it started raining yesterday, and I don't expect it to stop for more than 24 consecutive hours until... oh, let's say mid-May. There'll probably be a week in there, around April, where it tries to fake us out. But then it'll go back to raining. Non-stop wet pant-cuffs, umbrellas, cold hands, and having to wear my thickest winter coat, hiking boots, and wool socks if I can spare them. Bleh. I love my city, but we really do have depressing winters.
Don't want to go out in the rain. *Whines* Don't want to trudge around Downtown where all the crazy Christmas-shopping people will be, especially since the transit tunnels are closed, and that means I always get kind of lost because I don't know which stops go to what anymore.
But I have to. I have to go to the Seattle Art Museum, so that I can (hopefully) see one of the two pieces I'm writing a paper on. Because that's what we're supposed to do. And I like the art museum, and I haven't been there in a long time... so it'll be good. I just... bleh. I think I'm still suffering from the aftereffects of turkey and all, and not wanting to go out at all.
The earlier I go, the earlier I can get back home. Must keep that in mind.
