long weekend!

zinjadu and coramegan at the IMA, which went very well (turns out that although my body took forever to remember a simple pivot - no, I'm not sure why, either - I have a natural talent for jamming the heel of my palm into the face of an imaginary enemy. Go figure), then a nice walk home, groceries, and watching nekokoban start to play "Fatal Frame II"... which resulted in the collective female population of the house all screaming every time a ghost turned up. It's a damn pretty game, though.
After that, spent entirely too much time revamping my icons for IB (yay! new PB!!), and headed off tocoramegan's to watch the end of "The Elegant Universe," hosted by the sexiest physicist ever, Brian Greene. The last installment definitely made up for the somewhat elementary stuff in the first, and the amazing repetitive-ness of the whole thing. Ah, TV documentaries - repeat the subject every five seconds, just in case the audience has forgotten what you're talking about. But this one was sooooo good. ♥ And we had sandwiches, and lots of random talking and joking around, as always. It was lovely.
Today... I'm working on fic, and trying to get reading done. Lots and lots of reading. But at least one of the books is legitimately fun, so that makes it easier.
