[livejournal.com profile] theladyfeylene and [livejournal.com profile] zinjadu, this struck me as something you'd particularly enjoy: "Blamed, framed and defamed. Three good reasons to free the Judas One".

Haven't had a chance to read the full text yet, but it seems interesting and amusing.

And, while I'm link-spamming, here's The Psychology of Aesthetics.

That is an interesting article. Hmmm...

But Judas is in the NINTH circle of Hell, darn it! If he's going to make a Dante reference in an article for The Times, you'd think he'd at least fact check a little first. It's not like you can't google that.

Yikes, no kidding - I've never read the Inferno, so I totally missed that!

Yeah, that threw me off too. I mean... if you're arguing about biblical stuff, I'd almost assume you've read and remembered a big point like that from the Divine Comedy. Or not.

Interesting. Some points of the article were better than others. While I do think a Judas type person existed, I don't know if anyone's got him figured out. He's a complex guy with not much about him that isn't biased. Understandable, but frustrating.

It definitely had its weak moments as an article - mostly I was amused by the style and concept of the way it was written, more than anything else. Very clever way of writing it.
