Alas.

I have six pages of something I just realized follows too closely on the lines of something I've already written. *Sighs* Damn, damn, damn. I remember now why I'd ditched this one in the first place.... Back to the drawing board. Or at least to one of the other things I'm working on.

Went to bed at 9:30 last night, and still woke up kind of sleepy this morning. I seriously starting to think I'm fighting some sort of bug.

Eh, it's okay. It was just disappointing - darned thing was almost finished before I realized.

Hopefully I won't be - I'm drinking more tea and stuff than anybody ever ought to, and hoping to go to bed early again tonight. ♥

Sometimes you wake up feeling sleepy because you got MORE sleep than you usually do, at least I have found that to be true.
I hope you're not getting sick! What are your plans this weekend? I need to find a time when I can get the cat food and litter to you and pick up the cleaning supplies from you. Plus just wanna see your cute face! ;D

Neither. I was trying to finish a fic I'd found last night while cleaning out my thumb-drive, but it has issues. The original stuff... I'm too afraid to touch it, right now, honestly. There's a degree of self-loathing and fear of hackery involved, there, that I just can't handle right now.

Which is a stupid way of dealing with it, of course, and one that I keep hoping to get out of. Going to try to make either Edward or Mark do something, I think, but with work as it is... whether I get anywhere is another story.

Two of the folks in my office are out sick today, one with something that attacked and hit full force in the space of 24 hours, so I'm feeling a little... besieged, just now. Hopefully whatever it is won't attack me, it looked really nasty.

Ah. But you shouldn't be worried if your original stuff is crap. Just writing it out is half the battle. Once you get it down, then you go back and make it not crap. Its what I do.

My vote is Mark. Cause he's newer and you might be able to get him to do more on his own. He seemed pretty active when we last talked about him.

No, it's not - Ariel's been off for a bit, I guess, and Max's is a sinus thing that just grabbed him really fast. He's always a bit sinusy (allergies) so he probably didn't notice the first symptoms.
