LOL. Wrong pole, but damned hilarious nonetheless.
You'll appreciate this - the professor for the class is Fitzhugh. So, knowing the man as I do, I made sure I could identify Kodiak Island. But he must know that pretty much everybody in the class has had him before - he didn't include it!!!
...Of course, he made up for it by lecturing about Kodiak and the Taginak Springs site. And we have readings on them all next week. *Sighs* It's like Archy 205 all over again... in greater, more horrifically professional detail. I like the man, but he's a weeeeee bit obsessed.
Bah, figures I would misread and miss an important detail.
I can't say I'm suprised about his focus on Tanginak Springs. He's been studying it for years and has a captive audience ;) Nice guy, but always was a little too PC for my taste. Or finding ways to throw in barbs about things he didn't like while not coming out and saying anything directly.
Now if you'll excuse me I've got drudgery to return too :-/
Very true. He had a habit especially in 205 of sort of... back-handedly saying whatever he wanted while saying it in just PC enough a way that it wasn't direct. He's been better in this class, so far... Probably figures it's safer in a small, mostly upper-level class.

*Pats* Here's hoping it's not too awful.
