So, my nice-happy-easy finals week just went all to shit.

I have my uber-easy test (which I do have to study for, but... it'll still be uber-easy) on Monday at 8:30am. Then I have my statistics test on Tuesday at 8:30am. I knew all of this, and it was good. Leaves the rest of the week open for celebration and happiness.

What I didn't know is that my otherwise-cool archaeology prof wants to make our take-home final due on Tuesday, too. The take-home final, mind you, that he's only passing out the prompts for on Thursday.

Here begins the sound of frustrated screaming.

When is your spring break, the week after next? I was thinking it was next week. Why is he waiting until Thursday to hand out the prompts?

No, next week is finals week - although I'll be done on Tuesday, it looks like, so that's nice at least.

He doesn't want to give them to us before the last week of class. *Shrugs* I don't know. It makes sense to him, anyway. And he might still change the due-date to make things easier, but he didn't sound very convinced.

Thanks. I've survived worse, this has just been a really long quarter, and this makes my weekend a lot more busy than I'd hoped it would be.

Yeah, it's really fun - I'm glad I stuck around to take it. At the moment, though, I'm glad next quarter will be my last for a few years. ;)
