Happy Ostara to all who celebrate!

I'm celebrating by going downtown to Pike Place and spending the day ogling all sorts of fun food and stuff, and, happily, it's a lovely day for it. That means the market will be packed... but who cares? [livejournal.com profile] narsilion, if you have time and still want to go, maybe we can make a jaunt of it next weekend.

Less cheerful news - I think I've officially passed the reasonable amount of time for The Email. I'm feeling pretty upset about that, I'd really gotten my hopes up. Stupid, I know. And it's still possible he's just too damned busy or something. But still.

...And I meant to have my room all cleaned before Ostara. There's been progress, but just... not enough. I'd better get out of here before I get a serious wallow going.

Bummer about The Email. :( Maybe it's not in the cards.

Enjoy Pike's Place. I went to Seattle for a conference like 7 years ago and had a blast when I blew off a session and went to Pike's. The weather was gorgeous. In fact, yesterday I wore a necklace that I bought that day.

Yeah, that's what I'm starting to think, too.

Thanks, it was lots of fun! For living in this city as long as I have, I really don't get down there often enough. It's such an awesome place. :D

Thanks! I bought some really nice whole wheat French bread to go with my dinner tonight. I might need to go out and pick up a bottle of wine, though... I don't think I have enough berry cider left.

Yum! What's for dinner to go with the bread?

I'm thinking I'll do the field roast, probably, with green beans and carrots. And a few baby potatoes if I can find any. I think I have some...

I would love to spend some time at Pike Place this weekend! Let me know which day is best for you so I don't make plans. ;P

Okay! It really doesn't matter much to me, though - which day's better for you?

Saturday is better for me if it doesn't matter to you.

That's fine by me - it'll do me good to have a day at home before classes start on Monday. ;)

How did you like the field roast?

It's not bad - a bit too salty, I thought, but otherwise good.
