All in all, it's been a productive morning. Got up, got out the door early so I could stop and pick up a new notebook on the Ave (I knew there was an important reason I'd wanted to go to the store yesterday... too bad I didn't remember til 8:45 or so), and since getting to work it's been oddly calm for the first day of a quarter. Don't worry, I knocked on wood when I wrote that.

My one complaint is that, since it's usually busy on the first day of class, I didn't bring a book or my thumb drive with the story I'm working on. Guess I'll have to start something fresh.
