AIM sucks.
Sep. 5th, 2003 07:00 pmAfter a year or more of perfectly reliable service, AIM has totally crapped out on me. I am extraordinarily displeased with AOHell right now.
It apparently ate my SN, so I got a new SN. Each time I attempted to use said new SN at the same time as running another program, my normally-well-behaved computer crashed, complaining that the system was dangerously low on resources. Even though I might only be running 2 programs.
On Gin's advice, I uninstalled AIM and went to download.com to reinstall. It claimed to have downloaded the program. Now I can't FIND the stupid install program, and am totally stuck, as I would normally be getting help from Gin.... who I was talking to on AIM!!!
[Edit:] Problem solved! I found the install program just after posting this, but LJ was being stupid and wouldn't let me edit the entry so soon. So yay! All is better now.

And just do a general computer diagnostic just in case some tiny, vitally important microchip isn't right on the edge of spontaneous combustion.

Thank you!
