rivendellroseHmm... not a lot going on right now. I'm going to the Winter Masquerade tomorrow, for which I'm borrowing a pretty green and black dress 'cause my usual formal is having issues. For tonight, I'm hanging out with Cora, listening to music and playing silly computer games (hooray for Poppit).
I've started a new story, but I'm kind of unclear still on where it's going and what's happening, so I need to do a lot of work to figure things out. I just sort of started writing in the middle, working from the one setting and character I knew I'd have, and it grew spontaneously from there. Very fun. I love the feeling of "oh... and who's this character who just appeared as if of his own accord?" It makes me happy, and rather like I might actually have some clever ideas of my own. Maybe. ;)
Have a slightly sore throat--am worried that I'm catching a cold again. Hopefully it won't get any worse; I'm too close to finals and all to get sick right now.
