going to the special hell
Apr. 22nd, 2006 12:14 pmOh dear sweet gods. I just applied for a new RPG. As Mal.
...Yeah, that's just as much a bad idea as it sounds like. Possibly moreso.
Sanity, farewell. I barely knew ye. *Headdesk*
In other news, contra was veeeeeery fun last night. Had fabulous time, got very very dizzy from all the spinniness (there is no way to make that not-really-a-word look right), and I'm not even too horribly stiff this morning, which is a miracle considering how much I got flung around in the second-to-last dance. If you are ever invited to join in on a square dance, don't. If you ever are invited to join in on a dance with a step the caller refers to as "froggy style," do. Yes, it's as weird as it sounds, but it's also completely hilarious. And when we got home
wanderingbeyond and I were unreasonably giggly and hysterical, so we drank wine and laughed our heads off about crazy people while I walked around the kitchen trying to work out a particularly evil foot-cramp. Much fun. XD
Today, Spring Fling (umm... where the hell is my garb, anyway?) at Ravenna Park, then homework, then Amy-from-work's birthday party. Must remember to put favorite brown shirt in laundry, as it reeeeally needs to be washed and I very much want to wear it. Or possibly the tan one if laundry becomes impossible due to schedule. Hmm.
If I get this stupid part in the RPG, expect massive future problems with getting the hell out of Mal's voice. It's already an issue just when I write fic. If I'm playing him on a consistent basis, I'll be lucky if I can prevent all my journal entries here from coming out sounding like I'm trying to channel Joss.
...At least it's not River?

you'll be great at it, and it will be lots of fun (depending on the people involved of course)
