Well, darn - how am I going to write my next essay for the Death class, knowing that someone over at NPR's ongoing "This I Believe" project has already summed it up so neatly? Simple, direct, and lovely.

In other news of the life-cycle, how the heck is it so close to Beltane again? This is why paganism suits me so well; every spring I get excited about the blossoms, then the leaves... and then even more excited when I realize it's still light out as late as 8pm! And then the same darned thing happens in the fall when the leaves start turning and it starts getting dark earlier. The whole pattern of it never fails to delight me. I hope it never will.

Oh! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to shoeless_girl!!! I hope you don't mind the delay - silly time zones making it a totally different day where you are than it is here! ♥ ♥ I hope you had a lovely one!

Oh, how I wish I could forget about it. This prof is kind of evil when it comes to paper assignments, and it seems like every time I get my brain wrapped around a good argument it slips right out of my hands when I go to type it. :/
