There is a bugbite.... on my EYELID.
This, to me, is proof that blood-sucking insects are among the most evil things in existence.
And, on that note... yes, it's now been two full years since the tragedy that allowed one moronic little pawn to declare war on the rest of the world, civil liberties, and pretty much any damned thing he wanted because people were scared. I'm sure Bush's advisors give prayers of thanks on bended knee to Bin Laden and his folk every night.
In the spirit of the day--come on, how long do you really think it'll be before the Bush administration makes this day a national holiday?--I highly recommend this interview with economist Paul Krugman. He has some very interesting insights into the current administration and their policies, and his discussion of the economy is lucid enough for *me* to understand what he's talking about... which is quite a feat, honestly.
Someone is setting off fireworks. Lovely... just lovely.
I wonder if the Bush-ism page-a-day calendar at the office has something special for today?
