Interview went... well? I think? CEO guy is very friendly, charismatic, biiiiig guy (former UW football player) who seemed to like me well enough? We talked about the job, he asked a few questions, mentioned that he'd done an interview last week that hadn't gone well, hence calling me in, which makes me wonder if he's just calling people in one at a time?

Anyway, he said he'd be talking to Girl-Who-Interviewed-Me about it next week, and then there'd be a decision sometime next week. They'd be okay with me starting the Monday of finals week, taking off the two afternoons where I have a final and the commencement ceremony.

That is, assuming they were to hire me. *Crosses fingers, then panics about how much responsibility she'd have, then crosses fingers even more*

Going out tonight. Need stiff drink to settle nerves. *Headdesk*

Pretty much everything for the smooth running of the office - at the most basic level, make coffee every morning and answer the phones and such. At the upper stuff... keeping track of people's calendars, arranging flights and hotel and everything for conferences and such. Kind of big stuff. I've never handled travel arrangements other than for myself, before. o_O

Hell yes. We're going to an Irish pub, so I'll probably have a coffee with Baileys, or a beer, though. Gin and tonic in an Irish pub just seems wrong. ;)

The waiting is totally the hardest part. But... at least it'll be over for this job, one way or another, next week. *Wibbles*

Oh yes. I had a nice big beer and a plate of nachos (okay... less on the Irish thing with the nachos, but I was hungry and they looked good) and then went out to celebrate another of my friends making it through her second year of med school, and had coffee and strawberry shortcake. I am now thoroughly stuffed. No belligerantness (is that a word?) but loads and loads of being goofy and telling dumb stories. So yay!
