It is not at all supposed to be this hot in Seattle, in my basement, at 12:30.

In other news, Lennier (the laptop) is now completely cleaned out and running Windows XP. And I wrote for a while this afternoon. A little of the fic I'm writing for zinjadu's birthday, and a little of the inevitable B5 fic. About, of course, Lennier. What? I had to christen the new laptop with fic about his namesake, didn't I?

No wonder I'm still up at 3:50, sweating like crazy if your basement is hot. And it's supposed to be the same tomorrow.
Arggh. I don't mind if I just plain can't sleep, but if I can sleep, but it's too hot....grumpy me.

Tell me about it. XP It's been over 100 daily all week, and the last couple days, it's been humid to boot. It's tolerable if I stay downstairs during the day, but we turn our AC off at night and I have an upstairs bedroom. Not at all fun. XP

On the plus side, welcome home, Lennier! *pets him* Does this mean that if you get a cute little printer to go with him, you'll name it Vir?

Eeeew. That's no fun at all!

No, but it means that today when I watched the first few eps of Season 3 and one of them included Lennier nearly getting blown to bits, I thought "well... that's not a good sign." :P

I'm thinking it should be posted tonight, unless something goes weird. Well... weirder. Nothing quite like character discoveries made while writing.

*Laughs* Yeah, that'd do it. It's pronounced something like "Lynn-ear," if that helps... which it probably doesn't, 'cause that's not any less weird.
